Please gently squeeze your hair while it is still wet, instead of rubbing it off. Sort the wet strands and comb them through carefully with the BELLA MIDAS Hair Extensions brush - be sure to avoid any tearing. Blow dry the base of the hair and the modulation areas first, and then the lengths and ends. If you want to air dry your hair, we recommend that you still blow dry the modulation areas.

It is very important that you use either a BELLA MIDAS Hair Extensions shampoo or a shampoo from your hairdresser. In order to be able to give a quality guarantee, it is mandatory to use our professional care product series. Only then can you be sure that neither alcohol nor silicone is contained.

You can straighten a hair extension with a good straightening iron. However, with the bondings (pre-bonded method), you should make sure that the straightening iron does not come into contact with the connection points.

We recommend avoiding swimming with extensions if possible. Extensions can be weakened by prolonged contact with water chemicals. Chlorinated water in swimming pools or sea salt, in combination with heat, can cause hair extensions to discolor, the condition of the hair to deteriorate and the extensions to become dull. Provided that the hair still gets wet, be sure to rinse the hair thoroughly with our shampoo and conditioner after bathing.

In principle, you can go to the sea with hair extensions, but you should be sure to rinse the hair with water afterwards and, if possible, dry it immediately.

After removing the strands, we have had the experience that there is a feeling of suddenly having less own hair. However, this is certainly not the case. The customers only miss the additional volume of the hair extension or the hair thickening.

The tape-in extensions and clip-ins can be reused in any case and this with good care up to a whole year. The keratin bonding extensions are not reusable.

There is no reason why there should be a break between the individual extension applications when the extensions are inserted and also removed again by the specialist. There should be no damage to your own hair, as your own hair should continue to grow under the extensions. Most clients choose to have the extensions removed and reapplied on the same day so they can keep their great look and wonderful long hair!

Remy/Remi human hair is cut from the donor with the utmost care. Then all the hair is spread out in the direction of growth (root side up, hair ends down), bundled, tied at the top, carefully transported to be professionally processed in the factory. This creates extensions that look absolutely natural, do not form knots and are long lasting.

Non-Remy hair, on the other hand, is of much lower quality. The hair is not laid out in the direction of growth. It is even called "fallen hair". This is usually picked up from the ground or hairbrushes. Root side and ends are wildly intermingled, so the hair quickly becomes tangled. Non-Remy hair is usually processed with harsh chemicals, including hydrochloric acid. This destroys the cuticle and thus the natural moisture content: the hair dries out and becomes straw-like. However, the supplier sells these hair extensions at a much cheaper price.

Unfortunately, these low-quality hairs can find their way into expensive extensions as well. Not all providers know exactly where their hair material comes from, so whether their product is uniform Remy human hair, Non-Remy hair or mixed synthetic and human hair. In the meantime, many suppliers use a silicone layer, which artificially coats and beautifies the hair. Unfortunately, this silicone layer survives only two to three washes. After that, the hair starts to become dry and straw-like.
